Ajang penghargaan Emmy Awards 2022 telah mengumumkan deretan nominasi pada Selasa (12/07/2022). Dari daftar tersebut serial Succession berhasil mendominasi perolehan nominasi dengan meraih total 25 nominasi, termasuk di kategori Outstanding Drama dan juga Outstanding Lead Actor untuk Brian Cox serta Jeremy Strong.
Sementara itu, Ted Lasso memimpin perolehan nominasi di kategori komedi dengan mendapatkan 20 nominasi, salah satunya untuk kategori Outstanding Comedy Series.
Perolehan nominasi terbanyak berikutnya didapat oleh serial White Lotus dengan 20 nominasi, Hacks dan Only Murders in the Building sama-sama meraih 17 nominasi, serta serial Korea Selatan Squid Game berhasil mengumpulkan 14 nominasi.
