Korean Music Awards 2022 (KMA) telah mengumumkan daftar nominasinya. Ajang penghargaan musik yang disponsori oleh Korea Creative Content Agency dan Kementrian Budaya, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Korea Selatan ini kembali digelar tahun ini.
Rencananya, Korean Music Awards 2022 akan digelar pada 1 Maret mendatang dan disiarkan secara langsung melalui YouTube pada pukul 18.00 KST atau 16.00 WIB.
Seluruh nominasi dan nomine yang terpilih merupakan hasil diskusi dari beberapa pakar di industri musik, mulai dari anggota Korea Creative Content Agency, kritikus musik, serta perwakilan dari berbagai bidang hiburan.
Tahun ini, BTS masuk nominasi untuk tiga kategori yaitu Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, dan Best K-Pop. Bahkan, di kategori Song of the Year, lagu hits mereka yang berjudul Butter akan bersaing dengan sejumlah karya musisi K-Pop lainnya seperti Nakka (AKMU ft. IU), There is A Wolf (Lang Lee), Traffic Light (Lee Mu Jin), serta Next Level milik girlgroup rookie besutan SM Entertainment, aespa.
